Unified Integration Platform Leader Anticipates FedRAMP Authority to Operate for the Federal Government

ROUND ROCK, Texas – March 19, 2019Dell Boomi

(Boomi) announced that its authorization for the U.S. Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) is “In Process,” in partnership with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). When authorization is achieved, the Boomi Unified Platform will be available for U.S. federal agencies to use for quickly and seamlessly connecting cloud and on-premises applications and data.

FedRAMP is a government-wide program that provides standardized security assessment, authorization, and monitoring for cloud products and services. Its authorization process includes an in-depth examination of a solution’s data security and governance. As part of this program, Boomi will work with USAID to ensure continuous monitoring of all security controls.

“One of the biggest hurdles to overcome as Government Agencies are taking on their IT Modernization journey, is connecting mission-critical legacy applications with ones that reside on or soon will be migrated to the cloud,” said Chris McNabb, Chief Executive Officer, Boomi. “We have more than 8,200 customer organizations using Boomi to connect cloud and on premise applications and data. We are excited to see what our customers in the public sector will be able to take on using Boomi’s secure, compliant, scalable and user-friendly cloud integration platform.”

Boomi’s intelligent, flexible and scalable platform quickly and easily unites everything and everyone in the digital ecosystem across channels, devices and platforms.

With Boomi’s cloud-native platform, getting started is easy – just log in and go – and it can be scaled reliably and securely as an organization grows. Its sophisticated capabilities, combined with an intuitive interface, built-in intelligence and insights from the Boomi community, empower both IT and an organization’s users to get more done in less time.
