Simplify Event-Driven Integration With Solace and Boomi

Event-Driven Architectures (EDAs), a term often used to describe a system designed around a message broker, are becoming a standard building block for building complex integrations. One of Boomi's priorities is enabling what we’re calling “Event-Driven Integrations” — the specific use of message brokers and EDAs to build a new class of integrations.

This new paradigm of integration can help businesses transform to meet the demand for real-time data and analytics, as well as scalability and fault-tolerance requirements.

Boomi’s cloud-native integration platform as a service (iPaaS) makes it easy for companies to tie together applications and information with pre-packaged connectors. As part of our event-driven integration efforts, we are pleased to offer a new connector: PubSub+ Connector for Boomi.

Making Event-Driven Integration Simple

As we mentioned in a previous blog post, the Boomi-Solace partnership makes a lot of sense. The two organizations have often found themselves serving the same customers — often, enterprises looking to replace their legacy systems. In today's cloud-first environment, on-premises middleware can no longer meet the demands of the modern enterprise. But Boomi and Solace can.

Solace is an industry leader in the EDA space, offering a full range of capabilities on top of an event mesh, including management dashboards, governance options, developer tools, connectors, messaging APIs, and much more. The Solace PubSub+ Platform consists of event brokers that route information across cloud and on-premises environments, and an event portal that lets application teams collaboratively create, share, and manage event-driven applications.

The new PubSub+ Connector makes it significantly easier for enterprises to achieve event-driven integration by augmenting their Boomi-based integration with Solace’s enterprise-grade event streaming and management capabilities. The connector replaces the need to use JMS connectors, and gives customers access to the full catalog of PubSub+ functionality.

With Solace PubSub+, you can build a best-of-breed EDA which includes all of your custom Boomi processes, and be assured that you will have guarantees on the reliability and performance of the underlying infrastructure.

Together, Boomi and Solace provide integration and data movement for any hybrid environment at scale, regardless of complexity. Watch this short video to learn more:
